Are we etched in stone or just scratched in the sand....

For today's LOTD I wandered over to another favourite sim - it's strangely beautiful...of course it does help that it has a hair shop in situ!  Tableau is a shopping sim but set in a desert ruin...the sign when you arrive proclaims:

Here lies the Tableau Desert.  The war of 2010 between the fashonistas and the blingtards broke out.  The fashionistas conquered the blingtards wiping them out of existence. The great war destroyed most of the once prospering sim of Tableau.  

Tableau was left half empty and ruined for hours, until a handful of drifters found the barren desert.  They were high on LSD and looking to party.  The drifters took Tableau as their home and built what stands today

My favourite place

I don't really make a tough job for any wannabe stalkers in Second Life - its a fairly easy job to work out where you can find me (note stalkers please apply in person for your measurements to be taken and noted).  My very favourite region is of course London City

I make no bones about - I like the people, I like the community and I even like the fruit loops (some days).  I have the utmost respect for the talents and the commitment Torric and Billy show to make it the wonderful, vibrant and eclectic community that has always held my interest.

So what better place to take today's photos for my LOTD than my very own remodelled hub (yes mine I'm very protective!)  My favourite thing is the new bench seats - they give you a very contemplative pose.

I am sporting the Maitreya Couture leggings that do such amazing things for a pert bottom and a pretty little floaty top.

And a cute little watch pendant I found in my inventory during my recent clear out!

Rainy Days and Mondays...

Says it all really!  So to wind down after work I went for a wander round probably one of my favourite sims in SL - the very beautiful Whimsy.  No matter how many times I visit I always see something new

Today was hopscotch!

After I finished there I accidentally hopped on a high dive ball and ended up lost in the sea for about 5 minutes so had to have a bit of a sit down to recover...

Squeak! A new challenge....

So after a conversation with someone far far more creative than me I decided I would finally challenge myself a little in Second Life.

As anyone who knows me will testify I like to shop and I like to shop big!  I admit I get compliments on my look...but I shop and dress to my tastes and I've always lacked some confidence to put it out here on the big world of blogging and possibly get critiqued!

Another excuse has always been 'I'm rubbish at photos and I can't use photoshop' well its not entirely an excuse I am.  Honestly.

But we never get anywhere without challenging ourselves do we...and so here goes...

This blog will be mostly just looks of the day...what I'm wearing and where I got it and I'll try not to cry too much if no-one reads it

Todays...well its a Sunday and I'm feeling lazy.  I have just fallen in love with Mutresse after their recent release at collabor88 and saw these fabulous shorts yesterday on marketplace.  I'm just wearing the plain black today but they come with a texture hud to change the main colour, cuffs, waistband, buttons and studs.

Also teamed up with my latest 'I love you forever and I'm never taking you off ever'' shoes from the 21 shoe event
